Designed for the runner who knows how to conquer the toughest of the tough, this super strong running shoe from asics is replete with enhanced stability and cushioning, and is specially recommended for those with a mild overpronated gait.  

The Asics Gel Phoenix 3 is made of lightweight material, helping its creators keep its weight at just about 9 oz. Constructed using synthetic material, the upper of this shoe is meshed enhancing breathability, keeping the feet dry and fresh even after a long run. Added to this meshed upper are synthetic overlays that add structure and durable support to the shoe. The upper is also fitted with reflective elements that make it a safe wear even in low light conditions.

The inside of the Asics Gel Phoenix 3 is employed with a padded tongue and sockliner that not only provides a soft and cushioned feel, but also locks the rearfoot in place, ensuring a snug Fit and protection from shock. The contoured sockliner in the Asics Gel Phoenix 3 offers a lightweight plush feel, and is removable allowing runners to place an orthotic for better comfort.  

Return of energy

The midsole of the Asics Gel Phoenix 3 is made of highly resilient SpEVA that offers excellent energy return allowing greater and more comfortable propulsion. Created of DuoMax dual density, the midsole is positioned in a  specific manner to enhance stability and support when running. The midsole comfort and stability is further enhanced using a California Slip Lasting, while the upper is stitched around the EVA board and directly attached to the midsole to offer a seamless fit and abrasion-free comfort. The rearfoot is employed with a Rearfoot Gel cushioning system that attenuates shock, allowing for a smooth transition to mid-distance.

Durability at its best

Created using Asics High Abrasion Rubber (AHAR), the outsole of the Asics Gel Phoenix 3 is known for its supreme durability. This AHAR technology is placed strategically in those parts of the outsole that is especially prone to wear and tear, enhancing shoe life. The forefoot is made of flex grooves for easy movement, while the forefoot and heel of the outsole connected with the Asics Trusstic System, which is a plastic shank wrapping neatly around the medial side of the foot, reducing the overall weight of the sole unit and retaining the structural integrity of the shoe.
